Makeover for a beauty brand
TS, a grooming brand from the stables of the Future Consumer Group was launching new beauty & colour cosmetics products and appointed us for the brand revamp with communication and packaging design across 8 product categories.
How do you take a brand that offers grooming, beauty and colour cosmetics from its “low cost” brand value to a perception that offers style, glamour and acceptance to young India?
Confident in her own skin and comfortable to speak her own mind, the insta-friendly woman of a selfie-ready generation sees no reason to hide vanity, and much rather, revels in it. And it’s this unabashed spark and energy that inspired our makeover plans for this brand of glamour care products.
‘Your beauty ammunition’ underlined the most effective way of making every day yield to her will. A young and confident visual language, with exaggerated bursts of colours infused energy into the idea of self grooming. We created a design language and communication narrative that was a youthful, irreverent celebration of beauty.
Working closely with the brand team, we designed a revamp of over 100+ SKUs across 8 product categories and 40+ nomenclatures.
Three new sub brand launches: Kosmique (Kajal), Colour Police (nail paint) & Liplock (lip balm) also added to the gunpower of ‘your beauty ammunition’.
The brand not only began competing with the market leaders in retail but also ended up ringing its e-commerce sales registers with an enormous growth from the time of its revamp.
